Enjoy a full day to explore Barcelona independently. Perhaps stop at Park Guell, one of Barcelona's largest urban parks designed by Gaudi, the famous Catalan architect. Originally planned to be an exclusive area for the richest families of Barcelona's bourgeoisie, it was later opened to the public. Though the park was never fully completed, it is considered one of Gaudi's most colorful and playful works. While in Barcelona be sure not to miss the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece and Europe's most unconventional church

Florence is known as the birthplace of the Renaissance and is world renowned for its art galleries, including the Accademia of Fine Arts, where Michelangelo's David is housed, and the Uffizi Gallery. Pisa is home to spectacular churches as well as the iconic Leaning Tower. This evening at 8:00 pm, sail to Rome

Day DAY 8: Full Day in Rome**
Arrive in Italy this morning at 7:00 am and enjoy a full day at leisure while docked in Civitavecchia, the port of Rome located 90 minutes from the city center. Join one of the many optional tours throughout Rome, or explore the Eternal City on your own. Perhaps take a stroll through ancient Rome and visit the Forum, the Coliseum and Pantheon. Be sure not to miss the artistic treasures of the city such as the Vatican Museum's collection of works by Raphael and Michelangelo, including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stop by one of the several museums packed with artifacts from the ancient city, or take a walk through the numerous piazzas and marvel at the sculptural works on display in the open air. Go to the city of Pompeii, destroyed by the Volcano Vesuvius in 79 AD, and has remained remarkably well preserved by the ash that buried it, or marvel at the natural beauty of Italy's Amalfi Coast, including the Isle of Capri, with its towering rock cliffs and turquoise waters. This morning at 8:00 am, arrive in Nafplion. This popular vacationing town is an ideal jumping off point to visit one of Greece’s greatest ruins, the Ascelpion in Epidaurus and the Grand Palace at Mycenae. Set sail for Katakolon, Greece at 4:00 pm

Day DAY 13: Full Day in Katakolon
Arrive in Katakolon at 8:00 am. This small, picturesque seaside town is located only a short drive away from Olympia, where the ancient Greeks held athletic games in honor of their gods. Today, there is an extensive archaeological site and a remarkable set of ruins which include a gymnasium and stadium. If you'd prefer to relax in town, visit one of the seaside cafes and admire the beauty of the Mediterranean while sampling some local mezes (Greek snacks) and sipping ouzo. Continue sailing at 4:00 pm

Day DAY 14: Full Day in Corfu
Arrive to Corfu, Greece at 8:00 am. Known as the "Emerald Island" because of its lush greenery and breathtaking beauty, Corfu is one of the hidden treasures of the Mediterranean. The second largest of the seven Ionian Islands, Corfu has a breathtaking coastline and a lush countryside filled with olive groves, cypress, lemon and orange trees. Day DAY 15: Full Day in Dubrovnik
This morning arrive in Dubrovnik at 7:00 am. Situated at the edge of the Adriatic Sea in the very south of Croatia, Dubrovnik is rich in history and natural beauty. With bays, beaches, steep cliffs and dense woodland areas, Dubrovnik's landscape is unexpected. Although severely damaged in the attack by the Serbs and Montenegrins in the fall of 1991, Dubrovnik's impressive medieval architecture and its beautiful Mediterranean landscape still remain. Set sail for Venice at 4:00 pm

Arrive in Venice at 1:00pm. This afternoon is free to discover Venice on your own. Be sure not to miss an opportunity to ride in a gondola on the famous canals that have made this city one of the most romantic destinations in the world. The ship is docked in Venice for the evening
